2017 Western Australian Volunteer of the Year Award Winners Announced

Volunteering WA (VWA), in conjunction with Presenting Partner, Bankwest Foundation is proud to have announced the Western Australian Volunteer of the Year Award Winners last night at the National Volunteer Week (8 – 14 May) Gala Dinner, at the Hyatt Hotel.

Tina Williams, CEO of Volunteering WA said that the annual awards recognised the contribution volunteers make to the social, cultural, economic and environmental well-being of Western Australia, by paying tribute to those who inspire and promote the spirit of volunteerism through their exemplary endeavours.

This year’s award winners are a group of exceptional people who did not seek reward and were rarely recognised for their generous contributions. They are a credit to our state and the backbone of communities in cities and towns around WA.

“I encourage the public to view the award winner profiles here,” Ms Williams said.
